Robert Hupman
Chairman of the WCRC

Robert Byron Hupman was born in Front Royal, VA, and learned the value of hard work and service to his community at a young age. Growing up, Robert worked on his family farm, Hazard Mill Farm, in Bentonville, and was heavily involved in 4H.

After graduating from Warren County High School, Robert worked various blue-collar jobs in agriculture and construction. He has never been afraid of a hard day’s work. A small business owner, Robert runs Hazard Mill Farm which grows and harvests over 75,000 turkeys each year.

Robert is heavily involved in community organizations throughout the northern Shenandoah Valley including the Rotary Club of Warren County, Thermal Shelter of Warren County, Habitat for Humanity, Reaching Out Now, the Winchester Food Pantry, and several other philanthropic groups.

Robert is an avid gun owner, outdoorsman, and hunter who considers wildlife conservation a key concern for the Commonwealth. He is also a sponsor of the Black American Outdoorsman group organizing youth hunts and teaching the basics of marksmanship and hunting to youth. Robert also leads hunts for Veterans Outdoors Group in Texas which takes Green Beret veterans out hunting.

Robert lives in Bentonville with his wife, Rita, and their daughter Shenandoah.
